The Pitch is a line of talk that attempts to persuade someone, with a planned presentation strategy of a product or service, to initiate/close a sale.  Yet, pitching is not about sales, only.

Actually, pitching is about strategically driving your target audience to follow your argument. I assume that when going out for a first date, we all aim to promote how amazing we are to drive or nudge the other party towards where we hope to get them, whatever that destination might be!

Whatever your field of application, personal or professional, to become a professional, you are expected to PREPARE to not only become confident, but, actually, to feel so.

The Pitch is a line of talk that attempts to persuade someone, with a planned presentation strategy of a product or service, to initiate/close a sale.

Pitching is an everyday practice spanning from all professional fields to the most personal ones.  At a first date, you surely will pitch yourself to the other person.  Therefore the Pitch is extensively treated across all courses at MIA and massimedia.training, as indeed it represents a foundational storytelling competence.

Whatever the context, the art of pitching relies on its PREPARATION, regardless it being formal or informal, as you should be always ready to deliver what you pitch in any number of ways. 

This is the reason why you never deliver the pitch by heart but, instead, look for ways to captivate your audience by endlessly adjusting on their reactions.
