MASSIMEDIA was founded by Dr. Massimiliano Fusari in 2002, and focuses on teaching the art of visual storytelling to strategically enhance professional communication. 

Fusari, an academic scholar and professional consultant with over 25 years of global experience from Morocco to China, provides practical, hands-on learning opportunities that turn professional competencies into lifelong impact. 

Fusari’s approach to visual storytelling is rooted in his extensive background in digital media consulting and academic research. A professional photographer himself, he then moved to consult for numerous organizations, including several UN agencies, private companies, and research institutions, to enhance their communication strategies through visual storytelling.

Massimedia.training focuses on visual storytelling and media strategy, specifically. 

The platform offers learning courses that cover various aspects of storytelling, creativity, and media strategy.  These courses are designed to support participants to manage visual data, effectively.  All training is based on the centrality of practical implementation, to make participants immediately understand and research, as well as prepare and produce visual storytelling. 

Images define our cultures and societies, anywhere and everywhere across the world.  According to the latest estimates, images now make more than 90% of all digital data.

Images serve aims as diverse as to entertain, influence or manipulate us. At times, images merely fill up unused spaces. In other occasions, they define our personal feelings and social activities. We tend to look at images without thinking, particularly so today because of their astronomical abundance, and, often, we take them for granted at a face value. I see therefore I believe.

Current developments in the form of Deepfakes and AI-produced visuals have come to challenge the image to its core, to thoroughly question our same idea of the real. As the visual form is immediate and omni pervasive, visual literacy is now more important than ever.

The mission of MASSIMEDIA.TRAINING is to make each and every enrolled participant to make visual storytelling, show it and, in so doing, master it.
